Girls Don't Just Want Pink Dollies Anymore

My girls love dolls, but they also enjoy playing with trucks, blocks, board games and using their imaginations.  Granted they do play differently than boys, but this does not mean girls don't like to build, smash and make messes (big ones) just the same.  You'll find my girls trying to build houses with chairs, playing camp out, doctor, firefighter, chef and many other silly games.

This isn't much more than an ad for a toy company but the message is clear - we need to make sure our daughters are encouraged to use their imaginations to build, invent and create.
